20×20 mixed media painting of a bird’s nest on a neutral colored background. Painted on a wood panel and finished with a reclaimed gold frame. Ready to hang

This mixed media piece is created with layers of acrylics and plasters. Pieces of vintage book pages, church hymnals, fibers – whatever is found on my work table at the time – just as a bird would do when building its nest. One golden thread is incorporated into each nest to symbolize the connection to home is always there, Painterly marks add details and definition to finish out the piece. The moody, neutral colors make this an easy piece to coordinate with almost any home decor. It would be perfect for a family room, bedroom, kitchen or dining room.

Signed and titled on the back. Wired and ready to hang.
