Retreat for Creatives – The Power of a Pause

Take a pause from the everyday busyness and join me in my studio for a two-day workshop all about creating art with layers and texture, If you are a finisher contemplating a transition from work on walls to art on canvas, or an artist that enjoys making art for clients and yourself, this workshop will expand your skills and opportunities. We’ll explore a variety of techniques, unusual tools for mark making, multi-media work, stitching and collage. There will be demonstrations throughout the workshop as well as plenty of time to experiment and work on your own pieces using the new techniques you’ve learned. All supplies are provided.
You’ll be met at the studio door with a mimosa and spoiled with simple pleasures throughout the day. A light, farm to table lunch featuring local wines and cheeses is included along with plenty of time to connect and network with other creatives. Our hope is that you leave feeling empowered, inspired and renewed.
